In 2023, eight CALI Annual Conference Scholarships were generously underwritten by Chris Reynolds of Chris Reynolds Investigations. Mr. Reynolds has been a CALI member since 1985, is a DAA recipient, and a four-term President. 

Our Scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of CALI Past President Chris Reynolds and everyone who participates and donates to the CALI Scholarship fundraiser each year or plays in our annual golf tournament.

Scholarship Criteria

To be eligible for a 2024 CALI Conference Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

1.  Be an Active member of CALI after January 1, 2022.

2. Be a newly licensed investigator (you obtained your BSIS license after January 1, 2022).

How to Apply

If you meet the qualifications, you must apply to the Scholarship Committee Chair, Mr. Chad Ragan (chad@ragan-investigations.com), on or before August 23, 2024.

The application should be approximately one-page letter, and it must include your reason(s) for wanting the scholarship, including any particular rationale that would justify the scholarship award. For example, some members starting their new businesses face financial strains that would keep them from attending. Other members are attempting to expand their knowledge base and skills as they enter the industry. We encourage you to apply if you believe you would be a worthy recipient.

The scholarship does not include travel expenses or housing for the Annual Conference.  

Selected recipients will be notified no later than September 13, 2024. 

The 2024 CALI Annual Conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs, October 17-19, 2024.
