CALI Conference Scholarship Opportunity
The California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) is accepting applications for the 2026 CALI Annual Conference Scholarship. The Scholarship Program is part of CALI’s commitment to providing education and training for new investigators entering the industry. Eligible members may receive a fully paid entry for the 2026 CALI Annual Conference. Click here for more details. Scholarship Application Deadline: July 31, 2026.

Conference Refund & Cancellation Policy
All requests for registration cancellations and refunds must be submitted in writing to info@cali-pi.org on or before Friday, September 4, 2026. All cancellations are subject to a $75 processing fee. NO REFUNDS will be provided for cancellations received after September 4, 2026, or for registrants who do not attend the event.

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, staff, and volunteers participating in the 2026 CALI Conference are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.


Harassment, intimidation, aggressive behavior, or any demeaning conduct will not be tolerated at CALI events. Participants are required to adhere to CALI’s Anti-Harassment Policy throughout the duration of the conference.


Any violations may result in disciplinary action, including sanctions or removal from the event without a refund, at the discretion of the CALI President and Conference Committee.

Dress Code


The recommended attire for the conference is business casual. For added comfort, we suggest wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a lightweight jacket or cardigan, as meeting room temperatures may fluctuate and are sometimes beyond our control.


The attire for the President’s Dinner & Awards on Friday, October 9, 2026, is semi-formal.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs is a fully accessible venue that accommodates guests with special needs. If you have a disability and require reasonable accommodation to participate in the conference, please contact the CALI office by emailing info@cali-pi.org or calling 949-715-5401.


To help ensure accommodations can be arranged in a timely manner, advance notice is strongly encouraged. If possible, please notify us of any accessibility needs by September 1, 2026, to allow ample time to make arrangements. While this date is recommended, accommodation requests will be accepted up to and including the day of the event.

Spouse/Significant Other Guest Registration

Guest Registration provides access to social events only. Guest Registration does not include access to educational sessions. Only one guest registration is permitted per fully paid member or non-member registration, and it may not be used to register a professional colleague.

A Guest at the CALI Conference is defined as a spouse or significant other who:


● Is not a CALI member

● Is not eligible to become a member

● Is not an employee or part of your staff


Purchasing a Guest Registration offers your spouse or significant other the opportunity to participate in the social components of the conference. The Guest fee includes:


● Continental breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday

● Welcome Reception, Exhibitor & Sponsor Reception, and Cocktail Hour & Cigar Night Closing Reception

● President’s Dinner & Awards

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) hosted and sponsored conference ("event"), each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the CALI conference and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of themselves and their heirs and assigns, to waive and release, CALI, its Officers, Directors, volunteers, agents, management staff, sponsors, and vendors (collectively “CALI”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this CALI conference and any associated events, including any claims related to communicable diseases, whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the CALI conference, at off-site venues, in participating hotel and host city or on event ground transportation. 


Attendee Email Release Disclaimer

By registering for this CALI event, you understand that CALI may share your email address with the event sponsors and attendees and agree to it. All registrants have the opportunity to opt-out during the registration process. Conference attendees will receive a hardcopy attendee directory with their registration materials. The directory list does not include your complete contact information. Furthermore, you acknowledge that you can opt-out of communications from CALI by emailing info@cali-pi.org. CALI Members can manage their communications preferences by logging in to their account at www.cali-pi.org. We want to emphasize that CALI does not share attendee information with any other parties and does not sell your information or the event attendee list. It is against CALI policy to use any participant information for mass unsolicited emails. Therefore, disregard any email you receive requesting money in exchange for a CALI event attendee list. If you receive this email, do not respond and delete it immediately.


Photo/Video Consent Clause

Registration and attendance at, or participation in the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) events and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant’s or attendees’ image or voice in recordings (both live and on-demand), photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by CALI, both now and in the future, including but not limited to sponsors and exhibitors, the host hotel, the host city, and the destination host (i.e., the CVB).

Photographs and videos of attendees may be taken at California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) events. By registering for this event, the registrant grants full permission to CALI to take any and all photographs, video, or any other record (collectively “images”) of the registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use, and publish the same in audio, photographic, or video format for any lawful purpose with or without the registrant's knowledge. Additionally, the registrant consents to the use of their image in CALI promotional materials, including, but not limited to, our CALI Journal, conference materials, social media, other printed and electronic publications, and the CALI website. The registrant agrees that CALI is not responsible for the unauthorized use of the images. Registrant acknowledges that they are not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed during the conference, please notify the CALI office in advance by emailing info@cali-pi.org.
