Dear CALI Members:
It’s election season at CALI! We’re seeking dedicated, eligible members to take on key leadership roles, as elections are now open for all positions.
These are two-year terms, starting from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027. If you're passionate about making an impact and contributing to the future of CALI, we encourage you to consider running for one of these leadership roles!

Eligibility
Excerpt from CALI Bylaws: 9.05 Eligibility for Office.
To be eligible for the office of President, the candidate must have been an active member for no less than three years immediately preceding commencement of the term of office and have served on the Board of Directors no less than two years. Candidates for Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer must have been an active member for no less than two years immediately preceding commencement of the term of office and have served on the Board of Directors no less than one year. Candidates for Director-at-Large, and District Director must have been an active member for one full year immediately preceding commencement of the term of office. No two members of the Board of Directors may be from the same agency.
Important Election Dates & Deadlines
Eligible members interested in running for any of the open positions should note the following election schedule and deadlines.
Friday, August 1, 2025: Call for nominations open.
Friday, August 29, 2025: Deadline for candidates to notify the CALI office at
info@cali-pi.org of their intent to run for office.
Monday, September 8, 2025: Deadline to submit a brief candidate statement (one page maximum) with headshot, to the CALI office.
Wednesday, September 17, 2025: Deadline for announcing candidate statements to the Association membership via email.
Wednesday, October 1, 2025: Candidates’ Forum via Zoom.
Wednesday, October 15, 2025: Ballots will be emailed to eligible voting members.
Friday, October 31, 2025: Ballots must be submitted by 5 pm (PST).
Monday, November 3, 2025: Election results announced to members.
